team of seasoned, knowledgeable engineers possesses far-ranging
expertise in network design, implementation and support in a multitude
of operating environments and were available 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to address and solve your

Founded
in 1999, Global IS is one of the fastest-growing technology service
providers in north Texas. Cumulatively, the Global team has over
seventy years experience in high-level technical services
to businesses large and small.
Brad
Wohlander, the CEO of Global IS, has extensive senior management
experience in business-to-business technology services and is an
acknowledged leader in the industry.
Mr.
Wohlander began his career with Applied Digital Data Systems in
Hauppauge, New York, where he served in a variety of accounting
and finance capacities. After seven years with ADDS, Mr. Wohlander
relocated to Dallas to become Vice President and CFO of Centurion
Computer Corporation of Richardson, Texas. Mr. Wohlander continued
in that capacity until Centurion was acquired by EDS several years
later.
Mr.
Wohlander then became Vice President and CFO of CompuShop, a chain
of retail computer stores based in Richardson. When CompuShop was
acquired by Bell Atlantic Corporation, Mr. Wohlander departed to
start his own computer equipment distribution organization.
After
successfully building a multimillion-dollar computer sales and services
firm, Mr. Wohlander sold that company to IKON Office Solutions in
1996. He then joined CompUSA as its Director of Technology Services,
quickly turning that business unit into the fastest-growing operation
within the CompUSA organization. In 1999 Mr. Wohlander left CompUSA
to form Global IS.
Mr.
Wohlander is a member of the Greater Dallas Chambers CEO Roundtable,
Small Business Advisory Council and Technology Business Council.
He is also a member of the Business Leadership Alliance of Dallas,
the Maverick Business Network and Vice President of the Brotherhood
of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas. In addition, Mr. Wohlander sits on
